On the 28^th of January, certain mass media reported untruthfully to the effect that the Disciplinary Commission of the Milli Majlis had had mass media workers accredited with the parliamentary Staff in order for them to cover the activities of the Milli Majlis during the spring session of 2022. On the other hand, it was claimed, the Disciplinary Commission of the Milli Majlis had cancelled the accreditation of some other journalists.

We hereby announce that the Disciplinary Commission of the Milli Majlis has never considered any item or point on parliamentary accreditation of mass media and/or journalists and that no such item was ever put on the DC agenda in the first place. We ask, kindly but also insistently, but all incoming information be clarified and verified before such reports can be released.
