MP Aliabbas Salahzade joined the commemoration day of the shahid Rashad Ilgar oglu Rahimov in Zabrat in the Sabunchu District of Baku on 22 November.

The others present were heads of several administrative departments, organisations and industrial facilities, shahid families, gazies and members of the public. They visited the shahid’s grave in the Martyrs’ Lane-II, said prayers for the souls of all the fallen and adorned their gravesides with flowers.

MP Salahzade spoke of the brilliant victory we had won in the Patriotic War thanks to the courage of the shahids and gazies, all the fearless sons of the Motherland.

The participants of the ceremony talked about the life and combat paths of the shahid Rahimov who had written his name in our victorious history. It was mentioned that the fallen warrior had been decorated posthumously with the medals ‘For the Motherland’, ‘For Courage’, ‘For Liberation of Gubadli’, ‘For Liberation of Shusha’ and ‘For Liberation of Fuzuli’ to the decrees of the president of the republic.
