The commemoration of the shahid Fatulla Gasim oglu Sirajov, originally from the local village of Gyandov, went in the Shabran Province with MP Sadig Gurbanov, shahid families, gazies and provincial public in attendance.

They went to the graveside of the fallen warrior, decorated it with flowers and paid their last respects to his memory. Then, they called on Fatulla Sirajov’s family. MP Gurbanov wished them endurance and took interest in their concerns and issues.

Private Fatulla Sirajov stood out for his heroism during the 44-day Patriotic War and was decorated with the medal ‘For the Liberation of Kalbajar’ to the decrees of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev in recognition of his service in the combat for liberation of the Homeland and for the meritorious discharge of the duties set the detachment in which he had served.

Fatulla Sirajov who continued his service in the Kalbajar Province after the end of the war parted with his life whilst on duty in January 2021. He was interred in the home village of Gyandov.
