At the OSCE PA Winter Session

The winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (PA OSCE) will be conducted after a hybrid fashion on 24/25 February.

MP Azay Guliyev, who leads the Azerbaijani delegation to the PA, is its Vice President and special representative for SE Europe, is leaving for Vienna on 22 February to attend the session. The parliamentary committee chairman Tahir Mirkishili and the MPs Agalar Valiyev, Ulviya Agayeva, Amina Agazade and Tural Ganjaliyev will join the proceedings remotely.

The reports of the OSCE PA general committees and special representatives will be heard during the sessions. They will be discussing the international political situation and adopt an action plan of the Assembly for the next period.

Our MPs will commend on the items on the session agenda making Azerbaijan’s mark there. Besides, they will make their relevant remarks and proposals be heard.

Whilst in Vienna, MP Guliyev will also take part in the conference ‘Peace and Justice: Post-Conflict Reconciliation and Peace-Building as an Important Link in the Elimination of Violations of the International Human Rights and the International Humanitarian Law’. This conference is co-organised by our Permanent Representation Office to the OSCE and the OSCE Centre for International Relations Analysis.
