Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova met with the journalists in the parliament’s accredited pool after the plenary sitting on 15 March.

The leader of the national legislature congratulated the mass media people on the Novruz Bayram and wished them success in their vineyard. As she was sharing her thoughts about the parliament-mass media relations, Sahiba Gafarova touched on the achievements that the country has made under the guidance of President Ilham Aliyev over the recent years, the Victory in the Patriotic War, the work that the parliament is to do and the country’s administration’s caring attitude to the media.

The journalists who cover the activities of the parliament, in turn, congratulated the Chair of the Milli Majlis on the Novruz Bayram and thanked her for the arrangements made to ensure their work went on during the pandemic period. They praised the work done by the legislative assembly and the latter’s role in the public and political life of Azerbaijan. The mass media people also voiced their ideas about the coverage of the parliament’s workings and wished both the Chair and the Members of the Milli Majlis success.
