Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis, head of the parliament’s Youth and Sports Committee Adil Aliyev visited the shahid families and gazies of the Bilasuvar Province and congratulated them on the Novruz Bayram.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Speaker mentioned the restored territorial integrity of our country as a fact that had been possible thanks to the in-battle courage of our adamant Army led by President, the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. The Patriotic War of 44 days had been crowned with the splendid victory and the utter military defeat of the enemy who had occupied our lands for close to thirty years. That triumph had been possible thanks to the heroic sons of the Motherland; it is thanks to them that our glorious tricolour flies proudly over the territories of our country purged of the invaders.

The Head of State has started the second Novruz fire in Garabagh already. As he was congratulating the nation from Sugovushan, the victorious Commander-in-Chief also said that those parts would become one of the most beautiful corners of the world soon enough and that life would spring back to action in Garabagh, according to Adil Aliyev.

Each of us is obliged to take a great care of the shahid families and the gazies; as for the combat paths that our warriors covered, it is an example for the growing generations, in the opinion of the Vice Speaker.

 ‘The successful implementation by President Ilham Aliyev of the youth policy the ground for which was broken by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev has raised the patriotic youth instilled with the national values and devoted to our moral staples. The youth of Azerbaijan fulfilled with merit the historic mission that befell them during the Patriotic War,’ Adil Aliyev concluded before asking the Almighty to rest the souls of the fallen in peace, grant their families endurance and give the gazies recovery and good health.

The shahid family members and the gazies who were taking part in the event talked about the heroes who had fallen in the battles for their people’s just cause; at the cost of their dear lives, they had won us the historic Victory, the people were saying. Their sons’ combat paths were talked. Recollections were shared. The sacred memory of the shahids was honoured with a minute of silence.

The shahid families and the gazies thanked President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for the unfailing care being taken of those people.
