Delegation Helmed by Chair of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Begins Official Visit to Republic of Uzbekistan

The parliamentary delegation led by Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova have arrived in Tashkent in the Republic of Uzbekistan on an official visit on 31 March.

The delegation consisting, amongst other officials, of the leader of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan inter-parliamentary connexions working group Eldar Ibrahimov, the WG members Javanshir Pashazade, Agalar Valiyev, Anar Isgandarov and Razi Nurullayev were welcomed at the Islam Karimov International Airport of Tashkent by First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Sadig Safoyev, Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev and other representatives.

The scope of the visit includes meetings of the Chair of the Milli Majlis with the President of Uzbekistan and the Speakers of both chambers of the Uzbek Parliament.

This visit is due to end on 2 April.
