The parliamentary delegation led by Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova have gone to the Monument to the Independence of Uzbekistan in the New Uzbekistan Park on 1 April as part of their current official visit to that country.

The Chair of the Milli Majlis put a wreath at the monument.

Then, the Azerbaijani delegation were told about the park complex and the work done there. The delegation members acquainted themselves with the panel dedicated to Uzbekistan’s historical figures and established in that complex.
