At the Winter Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe

Charman of the Milli Majlis Committee for International Relations and Interparliamentary Contacts, Leader of the permanent delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Samad Seyidov and a group of Azerbaijani MPs will be in Strasbourg for the winter session of the PACE on 24-29 January.

Apart from Mr Seyidov, the delegation consists of the MPs Sevinj Fataliyeva, Rafael Huseynov, Sabir Hajiyev, Erkin Gadirli, Tural Ganjaliyev, Nigyar Arpadarai and Kamal Jafarov.

The PACE winter session agenda deals, amongst other things, with the performance reports by the Assembly’s Bureau and Standing Committee. Besides, there will be opinion exchanges about improving the monitoring procedures of the PACE, the findings of the Georgian parliamentary election monitoring, the post-monitoring dialogue with Montenegro as well as the ethical, legal and practical facets of the COVID-19 vaccination, the discrimination against the people dealing with chronic or long-lasting illnesses and so forth.

The members of the Milli Majlis will be speaking about the agenda items and stating their relevant views.
