MP Jala Aliyeva Attends Shahids’ Wakes in Ujar, Zardab Provinces

The commemoration days of the Patriotic War shahids – Khayal Rafig oglu Jabrayilov in the village of Laki in Ujar Province and of Ibrahim Mirzaaga oglu Rustamli and Anar Nazim oglu Mammadzade in the respective villages of Shahhuseynli and Galma in the Zardab Province – were attended by the deputy chair of the Milli Majlis Family, Women’s and Children’s Affairs Committee Jala Aliyeva, the provincial authority executives, the shahids’ families, fellows-in-arms and friends as well as members of the local communities.

The participants of the ceremonies went to the fallen warriors’ gravesides to adorn their tombstones with flowers and pay their respects to their memory. They did not omit to honour the graves of the other shahids put to rest there, either; prayers were read for the gone heroes’ souls. MP Jala Aliyeva talked to the shahid families, shared in their grief and enquired after their cares and concerns.

The glorious life and combat paths of the shahids and their exploits in the Patriotic War battlefields were talked about. Jala Aliyeva said that our historic victory is the fruit of the self-sacrifice of the courageous sons of the Azerbaijani people and the people having united into a fist of iron rallied by Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. The parliamentarian thanked the shahid parents for having raised the heroes. She said that our people were going to live in the freed hands happily and in plenty thereafter just as they had done before.

The fallen fighters’ families and friends thanked President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for the care they are taking of the shahid families and war gazies.

It should be mentioned that our shahids were decorated pursuant to decrees of the president of the republic in consideration of their meritorious discharge of combat duties as well as the valour and exemplary heroism during the Patriotic War.

To be specific, Khayal Jabrayilov is decorated with the medals ‘For the Motherland’, ‘For Distinction in Battle’, ‘For Liberation of Fuzuli’ and ‘For Liberation of Shusha’ while the medals ‘For the Motherland’ and ‘For Liberation of Khojavend’ were bestowed upon Ibrahim Rustamli. The decorations of Anar Mammadzade are the medals ‘For the Motherland’ and ‘For Liberation of Fuzuli’.
