The Turkish parliamentary delegation led by Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop have arrived in Baku on 16 May to take part in the forthcoming Third General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Economic Co-operation Organisation.

The delegation were met at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by the welcoming party consisting, amongst others, of First Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis Ali Huseynov, the leader of the Azerbaijan-Turkey inter-parliamentary connexions working group Ahliman Amiraslanov, the Azerbaijani ambassador in Ankara Rashad Mammadov and the Turkish ambassador in Baku Cahit Bağçı.

The visit of the GNAT delegation to Azerbaijan will last until 18 May.
