The parliamentary delegation led by Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda have arrived in Azerbaijan on 16 May for the Third General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Economic Co-operation Organisation.

They were welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by the party that consisted, amongst other officials, of the chairman of the Milli Majlis Sciences and Education Committee Bakhtiyar Aliyev, the leader of the Azerbaijan-Tajikistan inter-parliamentary connexions working group Aydin Mirzazade and the Tajik ambassador to Azerbaijan Rustam Soli.
