The Disciplinary Committee based its work on strict compliance with the Laws of Azerbaijan and acted in the spirit of openness and transparency. The incoming messages were examined with utmost care before appropriate acts could be taken. Besides, the Commission drafted its own Charter in conjunction with the parliamentary Committee for Law Policy and State-Building – the draft is expected to be approved during the spring parliamentary session of this year.

The MPs on the Disciplinary Commission, too, were very active propagating on TV channels, in local and international mass media and in the social networks. The interviews that the President of Azerbaijan was giving to overseas media in those days played an unparalleled role in making the global community aware of the realia of Azerbaijan and unmasking the occupier-state alike.
After that, the meeting participants listened to the thorough report done by the Commission last year; the discussions followed. Deputy Chairman of the Commission Fazayil Agamali described the report as an innovation in the work practice of the Milli Majlis, adding that the hearings of such reports represented a novelty in the Milli Majlis of the sixth convocation in the first place.
The MPs Hikmat Mammadov, Sattar Mehbaliyev, Mader Musayev, Nasib Mahamaliyev, Malahat Ibrahimghizi and Nizami Safarov spoke of the Commission having worked democratically, openly and transparently.
