MP Ulviya Hamzayeva will be in Tashkent and Bukhara in Uzbekistan from the 19th to the 26th of May to take part in the International Goldwork, Jewellery and Weaving Arts Festival there. 

Besides, MP Hamzayeva will join the international applied research conference The Traditional Goldwork Embroidery, Jewellery and Knitting Arts: the History, the Experience and the Evolution Prospects. Ulviya Hamzayeva, herself a member of the Azerbaijani Parliament’s Culture Committee, is going to speak at the session The History of the Art of Knitting: the Designs and the Innovative Approach. 

The member of the Milli Majlis will also attend the sessions The Global Knowhow of Preserving and Promoting the Traditional Goldwork and Jewellery Arts as a Socio-Cultural Experience and The Traditional Goldwork Embroidery and Jewellery Arts: the Theoretical Issues of the History and the Education Technologies. 

Also, there will be a discussion about the kinds of the Azerbaijani jewellery-making art and the technologies employed by it; exhibits from the National Carpet Museum of our country will feature as the examples to go by.
