At the Meeting of the CIS IPA Commission

A member of the Milli Majlis and of the CIS IPA Standing Commission for State-Building and Study of Local Self-Government Experience Fazail Agamali was elected the Commission’s Deputy Chairman at its hybrid meeting which he had joined remotely on 26 May.

The other agenda items tabled at the commission meeting dealt with the continuing work on the documents about electoral laws, and on the model draft laws and draft recommendations regarding election monitoring, prevention of meddling with elections, the workings of municipalities and state administration.

Besides, they listened to the 2021 commission work report, reviewed the perspective model legislation plan for the following period, and set the date and venue of the next meeting of the Commission.
