At the Online Meeting of the CIS IPA Permanent Economy and Finances Commission

The CIS IPA Permanent Commission on Economy and Finances had a virtual meeting on 20 May and the commission’s deputy chairman Rufat Guliyev and its members Iltizam Yusifov and Anar Mammadov, all three of the Milli Majlis delegation to the CIS IPA, got connected to the meeting, too.

Approval of the agenda was followed by consideration of organisational matters. MP Guliyev was re-elected deputy chairman of the Commission.

Then, they discussed the recommendations about the economic security co-operation amongst the Commonwealth member-states, the model draft laws ‘On State Procurement’ and ‘On Technology Transfer, Supporting and Regulating it in the CIS States’ and a package of model laws on digitalisation.

The Commission also reviewed the suggestions concerning the draft 2023-2025 CIS Member States’ Perspective Model Legislation, the work done during 2021 and the recommendations regarding the perspective model legislation work plan. Also, the venue and date of the next Commission meeting were chosen.
