A Public Hearing Due at the Parliament
On 12 June, the Milli Majlis will host a public hearing `West Azerbaijan: Our Genocide-Afflicted Historical and Cultural Heritage and its Revival`, which the parliamentary Cultural Committee is organising.

Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has sent a letter to the 29th Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Mustafa Şentop, and in her letter she is underscoring the successes of the legislature of the brotherly country achieved whilst Mr Şentop was heading it. Mrs Gafarova also remarks in her communication that the linkage between our supreme legislative bodies reached a new level in the same period.

Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova told the British PM’s Trade Envoy on Azerbaijan Baroness Emma Nicholson as they met on 31 May that she was recalling fondly their previous meeting and Mrs Gafarova’s own visits to the UK. Mrs Gafarova also pointed out the high level of the Azerbaijani-British interaction, especially in the economic, trading and energy areas.
