At the Euronest PA Committees’ Meetings
The 9th session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly that began on 19 April will last for two days. The first day saw the online meetings of two permanent committees of the Assembly. The members of the Milli Majlis delegation to the Euronest PA discoursed on the agenda items of the committees from the point of view of the national interests of Azerbaijan.
Member of Milli Majlis Will Monitor Parliamentary Election in Albania
Member of the Milli Majlis and Vice President of the OSCE PA Azay Guliyev is leaving for the Albanian capital city of Tirana on 20 April to monitor the parliamentary election due in that country on 25 April.
At the IPA CIS Events
As reported earlier, the delegation led by Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova visited St Petersburg for the spring session of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. Delegation members took part in the events that were arranged and conducted within the frameworks of that session.

To the Spring Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe
Members of the permanent delegation of the Milli Majlis to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Sevinj Fataliyeva, Rafael Huseynov, Nigyar Arpadarai, Kamal Jafarov and Erkin Gadirli will be in Strasbourg on 17-23 April for the spring session of the PACE.
Chair of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova: ‘Co-operation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan progresses in all the areas’
Mrs Gafarova expressed this thought during her conversation with Chair of the Senate of Uzbekistan’s Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva. Speaking further, Sahiba Gafarova said that the bilateral relations are setting high standards whilst resting on the firm legal foundation in place thanks to the documents that our states have signed to date. The mutual visits and conversations of the presidents of the two countries played an important role in achieving this level of interaction, too, she added.
