Azerbaijani-Italian Connexions are Progressing

As part of her current official visit to Italy, Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova met on 18 May with the State Secretary of the Italian Republic’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, Co-chairman of the joint Interstate Commission for economic co-operation between the Azerbaijan Republic and the Italian Republic Manlio Di Stefano.

Chair of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Met with Speaker of Moldovan Parliament

Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova had a meeting with President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Zinaida Greceanîi on 15 April. Greeting the Moldovan colleague, Mrs Gafarova said that their meeting was a good opportunity to talk over the prospects for mutually beneficial bilateral co-operation.

Chair of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Met with Chair of Kazakhstan Parliament’s Senate

Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova had a meeting with Chair of the Kazakhstan Parliament’s Senate Maulen Ashimbayev as part of her current visit to the Russian Federation on 15 April. Mrs Gafarova greeted her Kazakh colleague before saying that the relations between our countries embraced many areas and that Azerbaijan attached great importance to the ties with Kazakhstan. The documents that our states have signed provide a solid legal foundation for the interaction whilst the strategic bonds created amongst the Turkic-speaking states create fertile ground for intensification of the co-operation between the fraternal countries.
