Slovak Parliamentary Delegation Went to Shusha, Fuzuli and Aghdam
The delegation of the Slovak National Council headed by its Speaker Boris Kollár visiting in Azerbaijan travelled to our de-occupied provinces in the company of MP Anar Mammadov heading the Milli Majlis WG for inter-parliamentary connexions with Slovakia, Slovak Ambassador in Baku Milan Lajčiak and other officials on 6 September.
Going to PACE Committees’ Meetings
Samad Seyidov who chairs our parliamentary committee for international and inter-parliamentary relations and heads the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE as well as the MPs Asim Mollazade, Erkin Gadirli and Kamal Jafarov will be attending the scheduled meetings of the PACE committees no political affairs and democracy, monitoring and on legal issues and human rights in Paris on 7-15 September.

Slovak Parliamentary Delegation Visit Martyrs’ Lane
The delegation led by Speaker of Slovakia’s National Council Boris Kollar and visiting in Azerbaijan currently went to the Martyrs’ Lane on 5 September to pay their respects to the memory of the heroes fallen for their Motherland’s freedom. The Slovak parliamentarians adorned the warriors’ gravestones with fresh flowers; a wreath was installed at the Eternal Flame memorial, besides.

On August 15, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, the Heads of Milli Majlis Working Groups on inter-parliamentary relations and Leaders of the Azerbaijani delegations to interparliamentary organisations released a statement in connexion with Armenia`s attempts to manipulate the international public and confuse them with regards to that part of the Garabagh Region of Azerbaijan where the Russian peacekeeping contingent are stationed temporarily. This statement is addressed to the heads of parliamentary organisations and foreign parliaments.
Milli Majlis Speaker Sahiba Gafarova Sends Condolences Over Makhachkala Explosion
On 15 August, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova sent a letter of condolences to Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin, Head of the RF Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko and Chairman of the People’s Assembly of the RF Republic of Dagestan Zaur Askenderov in connexion with the lethal explosion in Makhachkala, the capital city of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation.
