Commemoration of Shahids in Julfa
Four heroic shahids of the 44 days’ Patriotic War were commemorated in Nakhchivan’s Julfa Province: Kanan Vaghif oglu Guliyev in the town of Julfa, Kanan Abdurrahman oglu Rzayev in the village of Gizilja, Miryasin Mirgafar oglu Seyidov in the village of Abragunus and Joshgun Oruj oglu Orujov in the village of Khanegan.

A memory day of the Patriotic War shahid, the Special Designation Force’s Warrant Officer Namig Ilyas oglu Khalilov, was organised in the town of Shirvan on 18 October.
MP Jala Ahmadova Calls on Shahid Families
MP Jala Ahmadova has called on the families of the shahids Garib Bakhshaliyev, Azad Bakirli, Ahmadaga Isgandarov and Samir Sariyev as part of the We Owe You campaign in the Narimanov District of Baku. She was told there of the life and combat paths of the warriors fallen in the name of the sovereignty and integrity of Azerbaijan. She paid her respects and extended gratitude to the shahid parents for having raised such excellent sons.
